Service is the primary mission of the UTSA Alumni Association: service to the university and to the community. Join UTSA Volunteer Vista!


Hundreds of alumni come back each year to serve. Their time and talent are vital to the success and future of UTSA. The Alumni Association raises thousands of dollars each year for student scholarships, provides valuable support for university programs, and continually gives back to the San Antonio and south Texas community.

Volunteer Vista is a dedicated volunteere team who roll up their sleeves and dig in to help with the vital programs that encourage alumni engagement with the university. Volunteers head Alumni Association and university committees. They participate in everything from hosting Alumni & Friends events and career programs for students, such as Birdfeeders. They encourage prospective students to attend UTSA and organize "New Student Send Offs" in their communities.

Alumni raise scholarship funds through Diploma Dash 5K and Fitness Walk and the annual UTSA Alumni Reflections Gala.
